2022XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing - Set

The XXIV Olympic Winter Games will take place on 4–20 February 2022 in Beijing, China. Beijing also hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics. That makes Beijing the first city to host both the Summer and Winter Olympics. Estonian athletes participated in the Winter Olympics for the first time in 1928, in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Five Estonian athletes have won nine medals since 1964 (5/2/2): Ants Antson – a gold medal in 1964, Allar Levandi – a bronze medal in 1988, Jaak Mae – a bronze medal in 2002, Andrus Veerpalu – gold and silver medals in 2002 and a gold medal in 2006, and Kristina Šmigun – two gold medals in 2006 and a silver medal in 2010.
