The Legends of Latvian Sports - U. Semjonova

The “Latvian Sports Legends Uļjana Semjonova” stamp block, issued by Latvijas Pasts on 22 September 2026, pays tribute to one of Latvia’s greatest basketball legends. Uļjana Semjonova enjoyed an outstanding international career, winning Olympic, World and European Championship medals, while also becoming a key player for TTT Riga, which secured the European championship title 18 times. Designed by Jānis Klaučs, the €4.41 stamp block was issued in a limited print run of 4,000 copies and forms part of the Latvian Sports Legends philatelic series.
