Roberts Krūzbergs is a short-track speed skater from Latvia. He was born on 18 April 2001 and competes in races on a small ice track where skaters try to be the fastest around the oval. Krūzbergs competed in the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, where he finished 9th in the 500 m, 20th in the 1000 m, and 26th in the 1500 m. He later competed in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan–Cortina and won a bronze medal in the 1500 m event. This was an important achievement because it was the first Olympic medal for Latvia in short-track speed skating.
