Poste Srpske in cooperation with the Republic Organization of the families of imprisoned and fallen soldiers and missing civilians of the Republic of Srpska have issued commemorative stamp on 15th September, the day of fallen and missing persons. In this manner, after fifteen years of war termination, we paid tribute to all the victims of the recent war.
With their lives, they built the foundations on which today lies not only the Republic of Srpska but its postal system as well.
Appreciating the importance of commemorating this day, as it symbolizes massif sufferings and disappearance of great number of civilian and soldiers, we try not to forget the greatest victims regardless of the passing years.
The Day of Fallen and Missing Persons is proudly commemorated in all municipalities of the Republic of Srpska, and on this day the Serbian Orthodox Church organizes in all churches liturgy service for the fallen persons in the patriotic war.
With this commemorative stamp, Poste Srpske also joined the commemorating of this great day.
