About World Championship in Football
World Football Cup was held every four years. First World Cup was held in 1930 in Uruguay, and the home team won in the final game against Argentina with the score 4:2. The most deserving person for the establishment of World Cup is Frenchman Jill Rime. In 1950 title for the winner was named after him: Jill Rime Cup – golden cup 1.8 kg weight, made of pure gold. In 1970 Brazil got that trophy as a triple winner permanently, but they had it only until 1983 when it was stolen and not found yet.
