Congratulations & Condolences
The new designs of the congratulatory and condolence stamps are presented in a subtle blue hue.
Flowers are a fitting motif for congratulations on a wide variety of occasions. The congratulatory stamp features three flowers with lush, large blossoms in a vase. Two arms embrace the striped vase as if in a hug, while the person’s head is entirely concealed by the rounded vessel. The inscription "Glückwunsch" (Congratulations) and a blue border with floral elements in the corners complete the design, which radiates joy. The blue of the condolence stamp is reminiscent of the colour of deep, mysterious waters, which, like life itself, can sometimes be turbulent and challenging. A small sailing boat, symbolising life, heads towards the setting sun, leaving visible ripples on the water in its wake. Just as a person leaves traces behind when their life comes to an end, those left behind will remember them, even though they are no longer among them.
