About Giants of the Baltic Sea - €1.80
With the restoration of Estonia’s independence, the country’s tradition of passenger shipping was also revived. This is a legacy that shipping company Tallink - founded in 1989 - has proudly upheld and further developed. The growth and expansion reached a new milestone 20 years ago when the Finnish-Swedish company Silja Line joined Tallink. As a result of this step, Tallink became the largest maritime passenger and cargo transport company in the Baltic Sea, playing a significant role in connecting different shores and peoples. That is why Tallink’s ships MyStar and Baltic Queen, which connect Estonia by sea with Finland and Sweden, were chosen for the stamp set Läänemere suured (Giants of the Baltic Sea).
