Romanian Postage Stamp Day is celebrated on July 15th, in accordance with Law No. 62/2024. This date marks the issuing of the first Romanian postage stamp, the ‘Capul de bour’ (Bull’s Head), printed in Iași on July 15th, 1858, under the auspices of the Royal Post Office of the Principality of Moldavia.
