About Prominent Armenians - 200th Anniv. of Tserents
On June 2nd, 2022, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 200th Anniversary of Tserents” has been put into circulation. The postage stamp with the nominal value of 290 AMD depicts one of the prominent Armenian writer Tserents (Hovsep Shishmanian, 1822-1888) against the background of his books. The right part of the postage stamp depicts the inscriptions “200TH ANNIVERSARY” “TSERENTS” and “HOVSEP SHISHMANIAN” in Armenian and English languages.
