The most successful motorcycle model produced by Liesinger Motorenfabrik AG was the LAG 350 D3, introduced in 1927. Liesinger Motorenfabrik originated from the Georg Roth company group, founded in 1866, which was one of the largest munitions manufacturers of the monarchy. After the First World War, auxiliary engines for bicycles and motorcycles were produced at the Vienna-Liesing plant under the names Roth and Geroth. In 1921, Liesinger Motorenfabrik AG was established, and from 1924 onwards, the motorcycles bore the name LAG. Despite the motorcycles being known for their high manufacturing quality, production ceased as early as 1929. The LAG 350 D3, introduced in 1927, was also known as the "Mountain Type" due to its suitability for steep terrain. The model featured a nose-piston two-stroke engine designed by LAG, with a displacement of 350 cubic centimetres, an output of 10 hp, and a modern saddle tank. A distinctive feature was the large aluminium cast cooling fins on the exhaust manifold.
