Alfred Bernard Nobel, Swedish chemist, inventor of dynamite, was born on 21st October 1833 in Stockholm. Chemistry studies he had started in Russia, and graduated in Paris, and later visited USA where he had worked with Erickson, Swedish-American inventor of ship propeller. Inventions of Alfred Nobel were diverse and covered with 355 patents. His wealth was enormous. A large part of this wealth Nobel has, in the statement of his last will, bequeathed to people who in the annual level, reach the most significant results in the area of physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and give their contribution to the World’s peace.
