2026EUROPA 70 - Sheetlets

The 2026 EUROPA stamp marks the 70th anniversary of the series and uses a common design shared by all participating countries. The main element of the stamp is a diagonally rising dotted line that echoes the perforation of a stamp and symbolizes the shared journey of Europe’s postal administrations. Seven interconnected dots represent seven decades of cooperation. In the background, the colours of the European flag blend with soft dotted patterns, highlighting unity and a sense of belonging among different nations. On May 9, Estonia will issue its first self-adhesive EUROPA stamp, accompanied by the world’s first First Day postmark featuring both Estonian and Seto language. Such linguistic representation has never before appeared in philately. The postmark will be released on Europe Day, bringing a glimpse of Estonia’s rich cultural diversity into the international postal sphere. The First Day Cover is designed in the style of a metro information board, displaying the word Europe in numerous European and world languages.
