2026Christmas - 2,10 € - Sheetlets

Christmas is one of the most eagerly awaited and special times of the year for children and adults alike. The two Christmas stamps bring together the warmth of home, the stillness of winter and the mystery of the festive season. On the domestic stamp, a snowy owl has found its way to a glowing window, bringing together the crisp winter landscape and the cosiness of home. On the international stamp, a fire burns in the fireplace, a cat rests peacefully in its glow, and thick snow covers the ground outside. Four tiny elves are busy in each picture. On the snowy owl stamp, they are outdoors, while on the fireplace stamp, they are inside the house. The elves add mystery and playfulness to both stamps and keep alive the question of whether they really are at work when no one is watching. Just as the snowy owl finds its way to the illuminated window, a letter can reach its recipient from near or far. Sometimes a few heartfelt lines are enough to bring a little warmth to someone's day and remind them that we are together in our thoughts and hearts.
