George Maciunas (1931–1978) – known throughout the world as an experimental twentieth century 7th decade art movement Fluxus pioneer and leader. This movement was set up by various artists, and included a wide range of works – from photography and street art to poetry and drama. G. Maciunas was born in 1931 in Kaunas. His family moved to Germany at the end of World War II and later emigrated to the United States. George Maciunas studied architecture, graphic design and musicology. He was very creative artist, full of new ideas and ventures.
