2020Art in Montenegro Through the Centuries - Cvetko Lainovic - Set

Cvetko Lainović was born in Podgorica in 1931, where he graduated from elementary and high school. He studied painting in Ljubljana and Zagreb, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1954. He had over seventy solo and several hundred group exhibitions at home and abroad. He won several awards, including the 1969 Podgorica Liberation Award, the Thirteenth July award in 1977, the 1977 Montenegro Painting Award. He has published over ten books. Until his death in 2006, he lived and worked in Belgrade.Montenegro Post, as part of the Art in Montenegro Through the Centuries 2020 edition - Cvetko Lainović, publishes a commemorative stamp and the First Day Cover. The author of the conceptual design is Una Đuranović, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
