About Historical Heritage - Princess Ksenija

Ksenija Petrović Njegoš was a Montenegrin princess, the daughter of King Nikola Petrović Njegoš and Queen Milena Petrović. She was their tenth child and eighth daughter. Princess Ksenija was an extremely educated, moral, principled, courageous and dignified woman, who became a pillar of the Montenegrin monarchy in exile and the main councilor and right hand of her father. She was engaged in charity work, the first princess to master photography and the first woman to drive a car in the Balkans.Montenegro Post, within the edition Historical Heritage - Princess Ksenija, publishes a commemorative stamp and the first day cover. The author of the conceptual design is Romana Pehar, a graphic designer from Kotor.
