About Euromed - Handcrafted Jewellery In The Mediterranean
The Ancient Necropolis of Budva dates from the 5th century B.C. It belongs to the Greco-Illyrian and early Roman history. Judging by the exhibits, the life of the former inhabitants of Budva abounded in refined and decorated handicrafts. This is evidenced by the exhibition of the Archaeological Museum in Budva, a special section of which is dedicated to the collection of Hellenistic gold jewelry. The most frequent Hellenistic motif is the insertion of semi-precious stone ornaments (amber, granite, glass paste) into the golden thread, thus complementing the jewelry.
