About Nature Protection – The Meanders of the Cehotina River
Ćehotina is a 125 km long river that flows through northern Montenegro and eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. It springs under the Stožer Mountain in Montenegro and has one river tributary. Throughout much of its course it flows through pristine regions, and enters the Pljevlja valley and the town of Pljevlja itself. The river forms meanders of extraordinary beauty through Pljevlja.
