There is no society in which there were not some types of games that took the form of a sports game. Back in ancient Egypt, they enjoyed boxing, wrestling and archery. On pharaonic monuments in Egypt, there are drawings created two thousand years ago that depict competitions in tug-of-war, swimming and other disciplines. Because of those drawings, many believe that it was the Egyptians who invented the rules of numerous sports, because then they already had something similar to today's jerseys and then the winners received prizes. Sport was important in ancient civilizations, and it is the same today. Today, it really has value in life and has become a global social phenomenon.
