50th Anniversary of the Judo Federation of Montenegro
About 50th Anniversary of the Judo Federation of Montenegro
The earliest evidence of judo as a sport in Montenegro can be traced back to 1962, when the first judo school was established in Cetinje, under the auspices of the Judo Federation of Yugoslavia. In 1963, the first judo club, DŽK “Lovćen”, was founded. The Judo Federation of Montenegro was officially registered on 26 June 1975 and currently comprises a total of 44 judo clubs.
Montenegro Post is publishing a commemorative postage stamp and first day cover as part of the 50th Anniversary of the Judo Federation of Montenegro edition.
