Centenary of the Founding of FK Buducnost
The pride of Podgorica and Montenegro, originally established as the Zora Worker’s Sports Association, has undergone several name changes in its proud history, becoming Budućnost Civic Sports Club, then Montenegro Sports Club, and ultimately, after World War II, it adopted the name Budućnost Football Club.
Throughout its history, the club has flourished, emerging as the largest and most popular one in Montenegro, earning respect across the region and gaining worldwide recognition due to its legendary players that have made their mark in European and world football. As the record trophy-winning club in the country, it serves as the foundation for all Montenegrin national teams, continuing to nurture exceptional talent in the present, just as it did in the past.
