Tourism Budva Old Town

The Old Town, the most attractive part of Budva, has a rich historical past. It was built on an island that was connected to the mainland by a sandy coating and thus grew into a peninsula. The Old Town forms a unique architectural and urban ensemble that has existed as a settlement since ancient times. Historical sources, written monuments and a wealth of archaeological material indicate that Budva is one of the oldest urban centers on the Adriatic.
