50th Anniv. of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts

The Montenegrin Association of Sciences and Arts was established by the Law passed by the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro on October 12, 1971, while pursuant to the Law on the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts of 1976, it continued to operate as the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts is the umbrella organization in the field of science and arts in Montenegro, of special national and public interest and importance.

The mission of the Academy is to promote scientific and artistic activities, and to affirm spiritual, national and state tradition of Montenegro.

Montenegro Post, on the initiative of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, publishes a special edition for special occasions “The 50th Anniversary of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts,” containing a commemorative stamp and the first day cover.
