2012Champion of Europe - First Day Cover

Women’s Handball Club Budućnost from Podgorica won the title of the European Champion by winning the Champions League Cup on May 13, 2012. The victory in the European handball club championship, with its magnitude and importance, becomes a part of the history of Montenegrin sport and it is certainly a success both for Montenegrin sport and for the state of Montenegro as a whole. The Montenegro Post is publishing a commemorative edition of postage stamps containing a stamp and the First Day envelope within the edition “WHC Budućnost European Champion in 2012“. The author of the conceptual design is Đorđije Radević, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
