About Gastronomic Heritage - Cold Pink Lithuanian Soup
Cold pink soap is a traditional cold soup from beets . Fresh beets are cut and boiled (sometimes together with the leaves). After cooling the beetroot soup is added milk, kefir, cucumbers, hard-boiled egg, seasoned with dill, onion leaves and parsley. The soup is eaten with boiled potatoes.
