About Environment Protection
PALE BARK PINE (Pinus heldreichii) is a coniferous evergreen tree that grows up to 40-50m and can reach the age of 200-300 years. It is a remnant of the Tertiary flora (a relic). Pale bark pine is endemic of the central part of the Balkan Peninsula.The Montenegro Post is publishing a commemorative postage stamp and a First Day envelope within the edition “Environment Protection”. The author of the conceptual design is Zoran Popović, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
