2014925 Years of the Elevation of the Bishops` Episcopacy to the Rank of Archdiocese - Set

Pope Clement III issued a bull (papal charter) in Rome constituting a unique ecclesiastical province in Doclea (Duklja). The bull of Clement III confirmed the archbishop's rights of the Archbishop of Doclea and Bar, Petar. Constituting of the Archdiocese of Bar was also the last political success of the King Bodin of Doclea, whose predecessor, King Mihailo, had launched the initiative. The Montenegro Post is publishing a commemorative edition of postage stamps containing a stamp and a First Day envelope within the edition “925 Years since the Elevation of the Diocese of Bar to the Status of an Archdiocese”. The author of the conceptual design is Maja Vuksanović, a graphic designer from Bar.
