About Art in Montenegro Through the Centuries 2020 - Borislav Pekic
Borislav Pekić was born on 4 February 1930 in Podgorica. He had written prose, theater, radio and television dramas. In 1965, he published his first novel, The Time of Miracles. For his second novel, The Pilgrimage of Arsenije Njegovan (1970), he received the prestigious NIN Award as the Novel of the Year. Pekić is also the author of other literary works of great value: How to Quiet a Vampire, The Golden Fleece, Rabies, The Years the Locusts Have Devoured. He had received the Njegoš Prize and many important awards and recognitions in the field of literature.Montenegro Post, as part of the Art in Montenegro Through the Centuries 2020 edition - Borislav Pekić, publishes a commemorative stamp and the First Day Cover. The author of the conceptual design is Zorana Tošić, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
